Dearest Families,

A most heartfelt congratulations to your child! The K2 Art's Festival was amazing! It was am absolute joy to see each and every class. and the learning and pride in our students. Many thanks to our families for their love, support and trust!

Book and More Books

As you may have noticed this week, your child has gone home with up to 5 library book.  At any time you are more than welcome to email Kurt Witting or his wonderful primary school library team at librarydover@gapps.uwcsea.edu.sg to request books for your child. The full library catalogue is available on the website for you to peruse, and as our life is beginning to open up in Singapore and parents are allowed on campus, the Primary School Library is a lovely resource.  Another great resources is access to our wonderful digital library https://research.uwcsea.edu.sg/doverholidayreading. Happy reading this break!

Holiday Challenge

This year we have been learning about our school community, how as community members we can manage our waste (and consumption) and we just finished a successful storytelling unit of studies! Well now it's time to look beyond our school and home and explore Singapore and beyond.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to explore the many transport systems that allow us to travel. We would like to encourage you to use this opportunity to explore and connect your child to our new Unit of Study, Off We Go, which will begin after the break. This will be a valuable tuning-in engagement.

As you explore, take photos of your child using different modes of transport. You can then upload up to 5 photos to the class folder . Your teacher will provide you with the link to your folder in today's announcement. Find your child’s folder and add your photos there. Photos should be uploaded before the end of the break. Your child will get the opportunity to share these photos with the class and talk about what they found out about transport in the first week back.

Engagement with this challenge is completely optional and while we encourage your involvement, we appreciate that some families may choose to opt out and that's okay! Please check out the link in this weeks K2 Announcement for more information

Please find below the upcoming Unit Letter

Wishing you and yours a beautiful Term Break,

K2 Team
